Peugeot Sports Turkey

By partnering with the international racing team Peugeot Sports Turkey for the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) Series, Ansell gets the opportunity to develop its 'High Performance in Hand Protection' Program on an international level. Both brands share the will to educate pilots and mechanics and promote the use of appropriate hand protection.

Motion & Emotion

The start of the Peugeot Sport Turkiye program, at beginning of 2010, reflects the slogan Motion & Emotion. This is the formula used by Peugeot to reflect its ability to renew itself continuously, mixing motion and emotion.

This year, Peugeot Sport Turkiye participates with the champion car of 2009 and with national athletes Burcu Cetinkaya and Cicek Guney, against competitors from England, Portugal, France, the Czech Republic and Belgium.

The Peugeot 207 Super 2000 is a real reference in its category. It has won several national championships including that of France. The Peugeot 207 has earned its place on the podium, as triple first place winner in the drivers’ and manufacturers’ championships of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC).

The 207 Super 2000 is still showing its great character in competition. Peugeot Sport has recently upgraded the car to the latest 2010 specs, providing drivers with advantages that help them compete for victory.

In the development of the car’s performance, Peugeot Sport is focusing on the engine, but also on the gearbox and the transmission. Many 280 hp, four-wheel drive Peugeot 207 Super 2000 cars are competing along with the Peugeot Sport Turkiye Team in 2010 IRC.
